Additional services
In addition to the languages detailed
on the "Languages" page, we can also arrange translations
into and out of all the main East and West European languages, so
we can be your "one-stop shop" for translation.
How work is received
Nowadays, texts for translation are usually received by fax and
e-mail. Source-language texts received by e-mail in an editable
file format (e.g. MS Word) can of course be overtyped in the target
language, thereby preserving the original formatting and leaving
any figures undisturbed.
How work is despatched
Translated texts are usually returned to the client by e-mail and sometimes
by fax, but this is becoming rarer. Very occasionally, e.g. where a translation
has to be certified, "snail mail" is still used.
Turnaround time
We reckon on being able to translate around 2,000 words per day, where the
text to be translated is fairly straightforward.
